Streaming AVI animations (and sound)


Here's an animation which was rendered in Amapi 6 as AVI (full 360 degree rotation).
The bar stool was designed by Martin deBlois in Amapi 5.15 - Amapi raytracing included level 3 anti-aliasing, environment reflection mapping, two light sources casting shadows, bump mapping on the leathery surface.

It was then read into GifMovieGear to remove the first frame, further optimized to remove every 1 of 2 frames, then again, then saved as AVI or saved as animated GIF after additional size reduction (50% of original). The AVI saved version was saved as  24-bit color. The animated Gif was saved in 64 colors per frame. Additional optimizations were applied to the animated Gif (minimal rectangle per frame). The resulting size is 1.7 MB for the AVI, 82 kb for the animated Gif.

The AVI  was then converted to Flash with Crazy Ivan's FlashImageBuilder 3.2  at 80 % jpeg compression.

The audio is also a flash stream produced by another tool from Crazy Ivan, Flash Scream is the name. I composed the loop in MTV Music Generator. sweet.
